      The Burning of York in 1813 was the justification British General Ross cited for burning the White House and Capitol in 1814. He was later shot and killed by an American sniper during the Battle of Baltimore

          Hell, British historians don't even classifiy it as its own war. They just lump it in as a minor theater of the Napoleonic Wars.
