    Cheney’s concern reflects a misunderstanding of Article II & the War Powers Act. Khanna-Gaetz doesn’t limit first strike capability. It blocks forever wars. Is it too much to ask to end the last Cheneyesque Middle East regime change war before we start the next one?

    Liz Cheney attacks effort by Ro Khanna and Matt Gaetz to prohibit force against Iran unless there’s a war declaration or an attack on US as unconstitutional. But if you take the view that Article II grants POTUS unlimited power to wage war to defend US, wouldn’t this be moot?
