"The way I view Natural History has been forever changed by this book... It seems inexplicable that a science book could be so funny, but it is. 10/10" Somewhat overwhelmed by this review for my book. 😊 Reader reviews are SO important!

Note that the devil on the left does NOT have devil facial tumour disease In fact the old battle scarred devils are likely to have been the most reproductively successful - Lots of scars = lots of aggressive mating interactions

It was a giant . 🐜+🍴🦶 They knuckle-walk to keep their long digging claws out of the way. Despite their scientific name meaning "three-toed anteater", they have five toes on each foot (but only four on their front feet have claws). Well done to all the correct guesses!
