Perhaps during your double maths lesson you can solve the following problem, if I have no immigration control & 650,000 extra people a year enter the country. How many extra schools, hospitals, roads can I fund from the few over taxed workers propping up a huge bloated state?

A good section on the family from Sunak. Love of parents for their kids is the greatest source of good in any civilisation and any sensible society will encourage it, not crush it.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. The only solution is taking platforms out of the moderation game. The content-layer of the internet should be moved to neutral protocols. *You* should be the one who decides what you can read. Not a company. Not a government.

I don’t think you have to be a mad right winger to think that there’s a level of migration that simply ends Britain as a culture and a functional society, and this is approaching it

Here's a cool map of South America in 1833. Argentina was 755 miles away from the (British) Falklands. In 2022 it's only c.337 miles away, and its territory extends around 950 miles further south than in 1833. Prize if you can guess how anti-colonialist Argentina achieved that.

This FBI response is disingenuous on multiple fronts. None of this expains flagging the silly jokes of ordinary Americans with low follower counts. Also, they are clearly not doing this in service of investigating crime. This is about domestic intelligence and opinion control.

Suggested this before but 4x4 owners in London should be given an option to register as volunteer drivers for the very rare snow bound days. pretty much the only time they're actually useful in the city

Anyone ever seen a snow plough clearing a road in this country? I see and hear a lot about gritters and salting, but it just turns everything into a slush. In the US, garden centres and builders send pickups out with ploughs to clear their local neighbourhood. twitter.com/can_cagzimm/st…

To be clear: £60,000 is (to use public service roles as they’re more recognisable) a senior nurse or a leading teacher or a police inspector: serious but attainable roles which demand skills that you have to acquire. And yet 16 hours a week on minimum wage leaves you better off.

Compare: a single mother of two working 16 hours at £9.50 and takes home £36,663 in Universal Credit for £44,567 income. If she has a 40+ hour a week job on £60,000 she gets no child benefit (clawed back by this point) and takes home £43,562. Something deeply wrong here.
