One of my work proximity associates (category: boss) NEVER uses the comment function in Word docs, but types comments at the end of the applicable sentence or paragraph—in the EXACT same font and color. I can’t decide if she’s a sadist, saboteur, or both.

I can't even fathom how I use to walk into a record store with minimal access to information about any single album or band—what info I *did have* was imperfectly stored in my adolescent brain—and then drop $12-17 on a CD that I may hate after one play. Yet, I miss it...

In retrospect, there's usually a reason someone sells an album back: it sucked. This was especially true at an indie store that categorizes its merch down to the granular level of a subgenre like "thrash." At that kind of place, no one was bummed by The Shape of Punk To Come.

Remember when the used CD section at your local indie record store was kind of like a scratch-n-win for music? Unless I knew what I was looking for, I struck out about 50% of the time, but otherwise get *something* of value—and occasionally find a gem, like Texas is the Reason.

The decision-making of the Senate GOP would make a lot more sense if it were predicated on the certainty that no other damaging or incriminating information about Ukraine—or anything else—will come out in the days, weeks and months ahead. Trump only has one setting: fuck all.
