      Just thinking through the music that I’ve been excited about this year - Rapsody, Leikeli47, Britney Howard, Ari Lennox - and realizing I’ve been mostly about women this year. Though YBN Cordae and Anderson.Pak have been on rotation as well

      Also great things happening in jazz. Saw Kamasi Washington play in September and he had a couple of guys - Big Yukon, Miles Mosely - who are beasts. Think people are learning to wed live instrumentation and electronic instruments and digital editing in really fantastic ways
