I hope the leftist turn in American politics will eventually force conservatives to become more rational. No more of this "tax cuts pay for themselves" crap, or this "welfare cuts force people to be more moral" crap, etc. etc. Try being the voice of reason instead, guys.
The right turn that happened in the 70s and 80s eventually forced old school tax and spend liberals to become more rational. So precedent is on our side
