Glad to see Bernie went from the Kamala-esque “we’re going to WAR” language to the lovey-dovey vibes. Too bad it unseats him as a “serious” candidate like it did Marianne Williamson though.

Doesn’t Bernie’s socialism unseat him? He’s pushed the conversation leftward, but given the choice between Bernie’s full-DSA platform and a candidate like Warren who promises reforms without nationalizing everything, I’d say the median voter, even median Dem voter, picks Warren

That’s kind of what I mean. Bernie’s brand means that he’ll always be relevant in wonk/journo/activist circles, but his upper limit of support among the wider electorate is probably ~15-20%
