I think you’re mostly right, but how do you account for the testimony that she’s quite warm and approachable in smaller settings? People who’ve worked directly for her, seem to like her a lot

My guess would be those settings are staged and/or quite rare given regular day-to-day workflow. What do you think?

Honestly don’t know. But I generally think the failure of HRC’s campaign was the failure of the inner circle to connect with and excercise any control over her larger world of surrogates. She seems nice enough as a person. It’s all the journos carrying her water who are grating

I think that's compatible with what I'm saying, if I'm understanding you. The whole chain of communication was just bizarre. Maybe the problem is people like Huma acting as gatekeepers, and not HRC herself? IDK. But she doesn't seem to be learning.
