If they get a loan then no. You don't have to fund investment in new projects with price increases.

Loans make sense when you're building up the library (and viewership) but once you're talking about needing ongoing content new content to keep existing subscribers, if you're relying on loans that doesn't seem sustainable.

Loans aren't just for startups. Lots of businesses don't just have that kind of liquidity on hand every day.

Netflix is probably already too loaded up on debt, but not sure they have other options No expert, but my guess is some new form of streaming aggregator will come and take the place of cable and guarantee Netflix steady revenue. They just have to keep on the treadmill ‘til then
