More fundamentally, if the Ds are the party of "redistribution" or "communal action," I don't understand how you say to ppl "your taxes are going to go up to help others" without a moral valence. HC, which can be an "almost everyone wins" scenario is weirdly a exception.
Why do you two keep saying this stuff as if that’s what I’m arguing? I’m not arguing the pros and cons of any plan. I’m arguing against the idea you can pick a specific plan and claim that anyone against it is acting immorally. You CAN do that, but that’s moralizing
