Another way to look at it is to say that "People want to feel righteous about their vote, so they will mutate their views to sustain that." Look at Trump. There are lots of evangelicals who support him like the second coming.
That’s not what I said. I said that it’s absurd to make support for the ACA the litmus test for who’s moral or immoral. You’re free to like it. You’re free to think it was necessary and the only thing possible, but that doesn’t make you a better person to people who don’t like it

You call it woke I call it making sure everyone has healthcare. The alternative being proposed is just repeal of the ACA. That’s not better by any measure. It would cause more preventable deaths.
