They argued vociferously against the ACA, and didn’t even propose anything different. If they had their way there would not have been Medicaid expansion, or pre-existing condition protection, or any real mechanism to subsidize insurance for those who can’t afford it.

Im not sure that’s ideology - I’ve never seen myself as ideological. It’s just wanting everyone to have the opportunity to survive illness.
What I’m saying is that there’s some Bernie supporters who would call you out for even supporting the ACA, because it’s not progressive enough, and some actually communist who would call the Bernie supporters out Most people choose to opt out of that version of the wokelympics

Bernie voted for the ACA! and I support Bernie’s Medicare for all plan. I’m for the best plan we can get.

If you think I’m saying the ACA is the best plan, that’s not what im saying. I’m saying it’s the best we could get at the time. Im all for going bigger and better. Every person should have coverage. Anything short of that is not fair in my view.
