I love that idea if only for the fact it makes health insurance portable
Again, I don’t know what’s controversial here. The US has more violence, more obesity, more socially disconnected people than peer countries. This is going to impact health outcomes regardless of the system. How would it not?

It has an effect, but it is wildly overstated is the point. Uwe Reinhardt, one of the most respected health economists in the world would continually say, "It's the prices, stupid." when discussing this. There are other factors, all secondary if not tertiary.
