I’m not mad at u. I’m just saying it doesn’t make any ethical sense to me to have personal financial priorities that would withhold healthcare from millions.

We choose to make HC expensive, which makes expanding access hard. We choose to make infrastructure development expensive, makes infrastructure investment hard.

... and we choose to make housing development expensive, which makes affordable housing hard; and we choose to make education expensive, which makes ... Yeah, there’s a pattern here.

To me the pattern on all of these things is to preserve privileges for the rich or upper middle class and soak everyone else.

Society is def oriented to protect incumbent interests over new entrants.

Housing problems are mostly due to strict regulation and lack of public investment. Not as much wrong with it as HC and infrastructure. Education is .. v hard to figure out what exactly is wrong.

I’d say single family zoning tbh

Denser zoning goes a long way, but if you listen to the eviction experts, also need public investment in housing.
