I wonder if I would really enjoy going to Ethiopia. I already know I like the food and there’s lots of history there I’m really interested in.

Ethiopia is an experience. As with much of SSA, tourist infrastructure is very underdeveloped. Helps to know locals or find a good guide. You will be uncomfortable in some way, but that’s part of the experience
