I feel like 2019 would be easier for everyone to navigate if we all agreed not all terrible people who believe god-awful ideologies are nazis. I honestly can't think if a bigger waste of energy than the constant "is THIS fascist technically a nazi or not" debates thee days.
It’s also a really weird backdoor way of trying to whitewash our own history. Some of the same people who went to Europe to fight Nazis came home to put on hoods or redline neighborhoods
