OK, if you’re using “for the right reason” to describe people’s internal justification, that makes perfect sense to me
If the analogy is daft and historically inaccurate, how is it for the right reasons? Shapiro can just dislike trans people and overt displays of non-hetero sexuality. Why does he need to dress it up in pseudo-historical drag to express his opinions?
