I keep returning to the idea that all baby advice is geared at making you try to force whatever the next developmental stage is, when it's coming regardless, so as to feel you have some control over these things, despite it not actually being better for them to happen early
Yes. Took my six-month-old to some class that was supposed to help develop motor skills. He fell on his face a lot. A few months later, he’s scooting around all over the place. Don’t think the two are connected Someone needs to end the tyranny of early childhood education
