Like okay, her performance was fun, but she really did give false hope to men who were dying and their lovers and their family (logical and biological) and that... is hard to forgive.

Tbh I dunno, but I saw someone who I know to be an older gay man who lived through the crisis and his response was basically “oh no, not HER” and that was enough for me.

There’s a difference between being hokey and telling sick people to be positive and actually advocating for some version of faith healing. Sounds much closer to the former. Not that anyone is obligated to like her, if course
