Oh I think everyone should be doxxed. But if we're talking about this guy, he's a public figure. Don't know what the Buzzfeed story is on so I have no way to judge it, but if you choose to become a public figure, the possibility of the press reporting on you is part of the gig.

FWIW, I would also add that if you are showing up at White House galas that partly honor you, you are not being "doxxed" if the press writes about you.

What does that have to do with the underlying principle? Every journalist makes a decision about the news value of a piece of information. How easy or hard to get that piece of information is related, but also tangential to the underlying issue

How should I know? I don’t even know what underlying issue is.
