I don’t know how saying showing up places to get awards in front of the press makes it hard to be anonymous is a game, but ok sure.
What does that have to do with the underlying principle? Every journalist makes a decision about the news value of a piece of information. How easy or hard to get that piece of information is related, but also tangential to the underlying issue

Whether doxxing is a matter of public interest or something else, like a way to get clicks or some form of discipline. I say it’s a combination of the latter way more than the former
