Prediction: someone is going to get 'cancelled' due to frivolous nonsense, take it really badly and commit suicide. This will then cause a backlash so huge that cancel culture itself will get cancelled.
I don’t know. Lots of people are too committed to that life. And the more that people’s material and psychological well-being become tied up with unaccountable and capricious social networks, the worse it’s going to get. It will get better, but it will get worse first
