look i'm not disputing that kobe isn't an all time top 25 guy, but let's be real here - kobe was never the defensive player kawhi is. not a knock against kobe, but kawhi is one of the three best perimeter defenders of all time.

I agree! Like I said, he was very good. I grew up a Lakers fan in the 90s btw, I think Kobe was great. Just not as good as KD nor as good a defender as Kawhi.

Statswise, maybe KD is better. But I don’t think you can compare careers until KD’s is over. 20 years and 5 rings is tough to best
