I’m still losing my mind that SCOTUS clerks get 400k signing bonuses when they go to big law. No description of merit or profit can justify that value.
Why not? If you clerked for SCOTUS, you probably have a pretty good understanding of how justices reach their decisions. That sounds like something that would be very valuable to a law firm
