Don’t people understand that as long as there’s one crazy left-winger in the world, the IDW will make it look like they’re half the population? They will never, ever lack for content to construct a world where white nationalism is “appealing.”

330 million people live in the US. Anyone can tweet about the woke left all day every day and you would never learn anything about whether trends are increasing or things are getting worse. Right-wing media runs with EVERY STORY. 330 million people and all they need is 1 a week.

All that money and supposedly brainpower and no one has ever publicly wondered what the base rates are? Think about it: have you ever, even once, seen a tweet from someone in the IDW expressing curiosity, God forbid skepticism, as to whether their model of the world is correct?

Can you imagine a world where Bret Weinstein and friends say "okay, the winds have shifted, it's time to focus on combating white nationalism"? Don't you think if this were possible, you might have seen SOME preview of it by now?

An 8-year-old can think past Bret's reasoning here: If white nationalism is an understandable response to woke lefties, what were the woke lefties responding to? The world didn't blink into existence in 2015 with Adam and Eve in an Oberlin dorm.
