Hooray, its another new security guard at my Safeway who stares me down and follows me around at a store ive shopped at for 11 years. Woo!
I get it. But sometimes simply confronting people with their ridiculous behavior is enough to make a light go off in their heads. And it’s ultimately way more satisfying to correct someone than to be on social media feeling powerless about it

I’m black and 44. I’ve been doing it a long time. This is just a lesson that I’ve learned. Something changes when you confront people with their behavior directly.
