Imagine how much better a position we’d be in today if the French post-modernists - especially Jean Baudrillard & Guy Debord - had taken the trouble to write a little more clearly.
I think we’d be in a much better position if people were less enamored with the post-modernists and more with the modernists. All the useful stuff is there by the time you get to Merleau-Ponty. After that it’s the elevation of jargon over understanding
