This statement would have been a lot more true 20 years ago. If they vote, today that probably vote to centrist Democrats, who now hold the position that the GOP abandoned to go full Trump

What does a centrist Democrat believe. There used to be centrist dems all through the south now they are all on the coasts and big cities and none of those dems are centrists.
