According to Cato research, libertarian-leaners (the ol’ “fiscally conservative, socially liberal” crowd) were the second largest block of Trump voters.

I have no problem blaming Trump voters for Trump. I question the use of the blanket term “libertarian,” which in its strictest form is a very small part of the electorate. Libertarian-leaning on the other hand could describe people from any number of political tribes.
