Ideally, the point of satire is to present people with analogous situations that might lead them to a wider point of view. This ain’t that. This is just signaling to those of us who are already pro-choice and a chance to head nod at how dumb the rubes are. What’s the point?
Sure. I was once pro-life and then I changed my mind. It wasn’t because of arguments like that. And it’s fine not to worry about changing people’s minds. But then why try to do satire?
