Is it? I get that it seems perfectly reasonable. Or is it just another excuse for culture war? I mean is there really a connection between bodies represented in text books and these other problems? Or are these other problems about... other problems?
Original headline reads to me as a complaint about the illustrations and not the text material. Which, as long as everything is more-or-less in the same place, is less of an issue (though even there I do sorta understand where they're coming from. Just gets more complicated.)
If it's not just illustrations, then that's a more direct concern.
