Saying we need to “move on from capitalism” is no less silly than anything the tea party claimed.

No one is saying “move on from capitalism”. We’re saying “keep capitalism the same but shove the profits and everything else into a social wealth fund” cc@mattbruenig

Nah, I’m good. I’d prefer to keep my profits and decide whether to hand them over to Blackrock to manage rather than have them expropriated by the state and given to some government run version of Blackrock. There’s not much appealing about the Saudi Arabian model

I lived in Alaska for four years. Still not interested. Also, the management of a fund earning profits from a public resource like oil reserves is different than a fund that sops up the profits from every sector of the economy.
