Also note that if you don't graduate you don't get the college wage premium so you never recoup it (and you still have to pay back any loans you took out). Why isn’t this a bigger point? I get that politicians want to focus on getting people into college, because that’s the easy part. But why does the media focus so much on the MA in puppetry w 200k in debt versus the person with 40k in debt that never finished their bachelors?
