I agree, and I understand the emotional hold that has on some people, but there is a lot of willful misunderstanding that goes on about what is being critiqued when left-of-center people criticize "capitalism"
All of that goes over my head, bc I insist on defining capitalism as the private ownership of the means of production rather than an all purpose label for all the bad things I dislike about society. Same for socialism
