No. They were wrong for other reasons and not sure how artful. But those reasons aren't what got Trump elected
Where is the artful concern about immigration? It starts with economic concerns but start answering those concerns and it always come down to 'brown people don't understand liberal democracy'

Is the degree to which "brown people" (or multi-ethnic societies with persistent ethnic political blocs and no dominant majority) tend to accept/embrace and effectively execute liberal democracy an acceptable empirical question?

That's lazy and unedifying. (That isn't what Angela Nagle thinks either, among others listed by Razib.) There are many ways to get to immigration restriction, including the idea that it's a boon for exploitive employers. Don't be an epistemic know-nothing.
