These assumptions are demonstrably false. As false as the claim "The earth is the center of the solar system". And the linked idea that the "market" sets wages and therefore value, is just a moral judgement masquerading as economic theory.
Always be wary of people trying to make claims about social science with the level of epistemological certainty of the hard sciences
