The literature on so-called brain drain doesn't really support this. There are network effects that bring positives in the form of remittances and skills transfer. Overall, just a way more complicated phenomenon

I never said there was a negative impact on other countries. Rather, a positive impact on the US, which we seem to be now turning our back on, for no good reason
