Goodness. Is "leave it to the free market" what you took from my thread? To the contrary, while I very much believe in *harnessing* the power of markets, my thread is all about what kind of *policies* we need most to do so - gov't R&D and subsidies for new tech, specifically.

In the future, provided we have one and are saved from the relentless and destructive greed of your capitalist ideology, people will look back on the likes of you and be ashamed. Extinction is the only end to capitalism. Thankfully it will naturally become socialism in the end.
