You've probably covered this somewhere, but how does this disaggregate? My guess is that the younger/poorer a woman is, the more she overshoots her desired fertility and the older/wealthier she is, the more she undershoots

Broadly speaking, although complicated by the fact that there tends to be more revision of desired family size among women who start earlier. Something like 92% of women starting age 35 have persistent family size, falls to just over 1/2 for those starting age 18
