You don't think people commonly dismiss criticisms of capitalism by pointing out that the person still participates in it in some way? Thats literally what Bridget did, point out that boots Riley has a pinned tweet promoting his movie.
I think that's a dumb argument and making it via cartoon makes it a dumb, glib argument. It just shows me how many people don't even understand the system that they claim to be fighting
