In my more cynical moments, I believe the RIght's deep-down objection to "political correctness" is that it takes away the dopamine-fueled pleasure of ganging up on people who are different vulnerable, and making them cry.
I don't disagree, but I'm also having a hard time seeing how the Tweet storm itself isn't an instance of the dopamine-fueled pleasure of ganging up on people who are different
