Far be it from me to tell someone how to feel about working for free. But are these shutdown-affected people serious about the "I don't care about politics or parties" answers they're giving in interviews? Respectfully, it might be time to start caring about politics and parties.
I understand why a political partisan would want a civil servant to take a side, but what's the benefit to the civil servant? It's not going to change anyone's mind and it's not going to get them back to work any sooner
