Bummer dude. I think it sucks that they weight the rewards by including legendary and epic cards, and other packs. Those are not the same as gold, regardless of “gold parity”

So total value is probably more, however gold is less...and since gold pays for expansion packs on Day 0, it is very different to earned packs (usually containing cards you already have from previous expacs). This is disappointing, considering what was promised.

“Total value” is how they want to hide the value that they skimmed. The best value in heathstone is day zero gold.

I think making 800 gold less in exchange for a bunch of epics and legendaries and other things is pretty good. Like what else would you use the gold for if not for packs?

He's making a lot more than 800g less because this expansion is coming out a month early. Normally he would have about another month to play and build up gold to maybe 20,000.
