Looked pretty simple to me. Maybe not as simple as HS but it's not as confusing as Artifact was.

It matters a lot. First impression is really important to casuals which are the main target group of card games. And I agree, HS just looks so much better still

I think you are so right! Having read the “Art of HS” book I can say that there was an huge effort to make the game feels alive, and it’s one of the best things in HS graphically wise. The characters are alive, you get to love/hate them for how they look and talk

I have no horse in this race, but isn't that exactly what Team fight Tactics is? Wht would they make another game that looked exactly like their auto chess version to march an already existing design format made by a competitor?
