One update here: Per person familiar, GOP is discussing an income cap on wage replacement for high-earners. Meaning if you earned above a certain amount, the wage replacement wouldn't make up the full 70%. TBD what that # is

The it took a month or more for the states to even act on the additional money that was given to them. I doubt a complex scheme of 70% of I don't know what, would take any less time and probably result in absolutely nothing given. Which is likely the plan.

Dems just won’t do this. They won’t agree. They’ll meet in the middle. It makes perfect sense, ones at $600 the others at $200, meet in the middle at $400. STILL only supports 2/3rds of Americans while the 1/3 who make far more that state UI & $600 still fall way short.
