Seriously. It is the single worst idea ever bandied about. It would create absolute chaos with zero potential ever for economic gain. We should be moving to finally tax “unrealized” capital gains, not permanently freeing them from the least possible taxation already.

Seriously. The pointless chaos that this would cause just so the richest could steal away the wealth that they are already illegally hiding. If anything, it is time to tax unrealized capital gains on an annual basis.
