Democratic aides pushing need for more $ for Medicaid, food stamps, state aid -- but they may find themselves jammed. The odds of Republicans supporting that for now at least “are zero. No more spending. We did all the spending,” one WH economic adviser says

Gee who would have guessed it? Obviously republicans have no incentive to come back to the table now that they got the biggest cash-grab in history for their donors. It will need to get closer to election time before GOP up for re-election see the need to help the poors.

Pro Life, That's a Lie! They don't care if women Die! (and anyone else who is poor) If this carries on with no proper aid there will be revolution in the streets.

The Republicans got what they wanted — a giant unaccountable windfall for corporations. Why did anyone think they’d come back to the table?

They didn't, it is a convenient excuse to give their donors everything they wanted.

Just horrible negotiators. They had all of the leverage. Now it’s gone.

        A. It's not gone at all. They'll have even more the next time Trump gets desperate, which should be soon. B. They got an awful lot in the deal. There are some issues that the GOP just will never vote for no matter what. I'm incredibly impressed at how much we did get!
