In ~1 hour @Arty_KiloByte and I will be doing a filmmaking Q&A/retrospective on YouTube about A Red Pill and probably just drifting into general filmmaking.https://www.youtube.com/c/FoldingIdeas/live …
...on set helped in showing that there isn't just a single narrative at play, but that it is instead that there are multiple (92!) competing ones. For example, in my mind, the incel would see the alpha as a "Chad" and the Alpha would see disagree that a "nice guy" is owed sex...

for being "nice", but then I don't make a point of spending an huge amount of time reading through message boards about this regularly.
-
I could see the potential for a narrative short where 4ish distinct characters representing those views are having a discussion. There's '99/00 Canadian short of an ethnicly diverse group of men delayed overnight at an airport playing Risk discussing race politics that did this.
-
I'm torn as to whether such a short would be better served with a more diverse group discussion of gender studies/politics, but you're potentially diluting the discussion away from the problem with disaffected men, or if having those views represented enhances the narrative...

Anyways, sorry for filling up your twitter feed with my morning rambling before work, and thanks again for the Q&A. I look forward to your future video on camera equipment and whatever else suits your fancy.
