Democrats chasing Senate seats in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, North Carolina and even Ohio will ask a simple question: Do you want someone who supported the instigator of a deadly insurrection, or someone who thought that such conduct should be punished?https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2021/02/16/republicans-tied-themselves-an-anvil/?tid=ss_tw …

Actually it was what the Germans would call The Sturmabteilung

What's that thing, where they say a lawyer should never ask a question that they don't already know the answer to?

Unfortunately, this falls under the axiom that lawyers go by: “Don‘t ask a question you don’t know the answer to.” My sense is there are a lot of Republicans who just want reps that hate the same people they do.

As a Wisconsinite, I cannot wait to vote Ron Johnson out of office. I'm a monthly donor to @WisDems, I will text bank to turn out the vote and I work the polls. At a minimum.

Not saying it's a cult in Ohio, but when they got mad at Pence, people put duct tape over his name on their yard signs. Which are still up now. Enough to make an agnostic ask people to pray for America.

I would set the over/under at 1.5 here. I think they can flip PA, and Ron Johnson in Wisconsin is really horrible. Tim Ryan might be a good Ohio candidate, but would prob be a close loss. Not sure who would be a Dem star in NC.

@RepTimRyan and all OH candidates just have to do the work & know when to change cookie cutter political campaign strategy. People want leadership that fights FOR something - You make a great point about a potential close loss for Ryan. Still, I’m hoping for a narrow win.
